Rehabilitation Support Worker

Location: Broadbridge Heath/Horsham/Slinfold

Salary: up to £14.21 per hour plus £1 location allowance

Hours: Part‑time and full‑time work available; shifts on a rotational basis including weekend hours.

Kerwin Court delivers specialist neuro rehabilitation to adults with an acquired brain injury in a residential setting just outside of Broadbridge Heath. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists and speech and language therapists.

Our Rehabilitation Support Workers and Clinical Team thrive on working together to enable service users to be as independent as possible and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

We will train you to provide personalised support to adult residents and follow individual support plans to meet the needs and aspirations of each person, developing independent living skills such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities and socialising.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Have genuine empathy for residents, with positivity, patience and resilience.
  • Enjoy teamwork and take pride in getting a job done well alongside colleagues.
  • Have excellent face‑to‑face communication skills and a good standard of literacy.
  • Have good time‑management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.
  • A manual driving licence is essential for this role.
  • Must be able to administer medication, or be prepared to be trained in medication.
  • Experience of supported living is preferred.
