Position Overview
2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.
This is a part‑time, permanent vacancy working 12:00pm to 00:00am on Saturday & Sunday. No previous experience is required; training will be provided in line with BICS accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas.
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent cross‑contamination.
- Dispose of waste safely and according to hospital guidelines.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Physically fit, able to lift, stand and move for extended periods.
- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene with keen attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills, dependability with excellent punctuality, and flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to follow instructions and complete necessary documentation.
- Proficient reading, verbal and written English for effective communication and job performance.
