Production Operator – Recycling

Our leading Global Client are looking for a Production Operator to join their well established team based at their Kirkcaldy site. This role is for a minimum of six months but may extend depending on business needs and performance.

Key duties

• Working as part of the recycling team
• Driving and machine operating – initial focus on driving
• Indoor and outdoor role
• Dusty and noisy environment
• Perform various labouring tasks as needed

Required skills and experience

• Detail‑oriented, physically fit, and eager to contribute to a high‑performing team.
• Proven experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or production setting.
• Ideally a forklift/machine licence but training will be provided if not.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Capable of handling physical tasks and manual labour.
• Willing to work in a dusty environment, mainly indoors.

Pay and shift pattern

• Dayshift – Mon–Thurs 6am‑2pm, Fri 6am‑12pm £13.20/hr
• Backshift – Mon–Thurs 2pm‑10pm, Fri 12pm‑6pm £13.96/hr
• Nightshift – Mon–Thurs 10pm‑6am, Fri 6pm‑12pm £15.51/hr
• There will also be the opportunity to work overtime at enhanced rates.

Additional requirements

The role requires the candidate to be locally based in Kirkcaldy and have the ability to drive or have transport.
