We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic/Fitter/Technician to join our maintenance team. In this hands‑on role, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis and repairs to ensure aircraft remain safe, compliant and serviceable. Working hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm with occasional opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved procedures and regulations.
- Perform fault finding, repairs and component replacement in accordance with approved maintenance data and company procedures.
- Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance whilst always prioritising safety and regulatory compliance.
- Contributing to the effective day‑to‑day operation.
- Ensure maintenance activities are executed efficiently and on time.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of maintenance facilities and equipment.
- Check, repair, and modify mechanical, electrical and electronic aircraft components and systems.
- Complete maintenance documentation.
- Support with conducting audits.
- You must comply with health, safety, environmental and sustainability rules and regulations.
Requirements / Qualifications
- UK CAA or EASA Part‑66 Cat A licence, or progress toward licence application (desirable).
- NVQ Level 3 completed in a recognised engineering qualification or the equivalent experience.
- Previous aircraft maintenance experience desirable.
- Strong understanding of aircraft mechanical systems, maintenance practices and technical documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, task cards and engineering instructions.
- Ability to complete tasks within defined timescales.
- You must be able to work professionally and responsibly on your own and as part of a team.
- You must be an excellent team player and communicator.
- You must possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence (desirable).
