We’re looking for an ambitious and confident Sales Consultant to join the team at our Huddersfield Motorstore. The role, titled Product Consultant at Arnold Clark, is more than a traditional showroom job – it focuses on delivering outstanding customer experience from first contact through after‑sales. With a commission‑based structure and a five‑day flexible working week, you’ll have the tools and freedom to succeed while keeping a healthy work/life balance.
Responsibilities
- Help customers find the right car based on their needs and preferences.
- Deliver outstanding, 5‑star service and go the extra mile for every customer.
- Build and maintain strong, sincere relationships throughout the sales process.
- Sell the appropriate sales package—finance and servicing—while maintaining integrity and professionalism.
- Coordinate vehicle orders and delivery, ensuring smooth operations.
- Meet monthly sales expectations and customer‑experience standards.
- Collaborate with the dynamic team to meet deadlines and honour commitments.
- Stay in touch with customers to offer a superior after‑sales experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Passion for helping people and an energetic, enthusiastic attitude.
- Strong communication, organisational, and people‑skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail to deliver on promises.
- A desire for a lasting and fulfilling career.
- Full driving licence held for at least one year.
- Comfortable with a five‑day working week and commission‑based structure.

- Base salary £25,500 (no company car) or £23,500 (with company car).
- On‑target earnings £40,000 – £45,000 with uncapped potential.
