Position Summary
As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing game features. You will work closely with designers, artists, and other developers to bring exciting gameplay concepts to life. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about video games, problem-solving, and software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain gameplay systems and core game mechanics.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with designers and artists to implement game features.
- Debug, test, and optimize game performance.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and game services.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of professional programming experience.
- Strong knowledge of C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or other game engines.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing mobile, PC, or console games.
- Knowledge of multiplayer networking systems.
- Familiarity with game physics and AI programming.
- Experience with cloud services and backend systems.
- Passion for gaming and understanding of player experience.
