Approved Electrician – Maintenance Bias (Commercial & Industrial Sites)

£40,000‑£45,000 plus van, bonus and overtime.

Our client, a specialist FM consultancy with a UK‑wide client base, is seeking an experienced Approved Electrician with a strong maintenance and fault‑finding background to work across commercial and industrial sites in the London area.

Duties

• Electrical maintenance and repairs
• Fault finding on commercial and industrial systems
• Inspection, testing and EICRs
• Distribution board and circuit testing
• Small works and remedial installations
• Liaising with site management to provide expert guidance on contract requirements and further work needs

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 19th Edition (or 18th Edition if required)
• 2391 Inspection & Testing or 2394/5 competency
• Experience carrying out EICRs and testing
• Ideally DBS checked
• Full UK driving licence

Requirements

• Confidence working independently in commercial environments
• Efficiency in fault diagnosis with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work site hours outside normal office hours
