Senior Resourcing Assistant (Fixed Term / Secondment to 22/02/2027)
The post holder will work as part of the Resourcing team, responsible for providing an NHS Highland wide service covering all job families and geographic areas. The team’s activities include coordination of the recruitment to posts on Agenda for Change, medical, dental, senior manager and executive terms and conditions of employment, bank and agency worker engagements, redeployment, etc.
Responsibilities
- Administration of the full recruitment and onboarding process, including employment checks, contractual documentation, advice and guidance to hiring managers, employees and applicants.
- Coordination and management of recruitment for posts on Agenda for Change and other employment categories.
- Engagement and management of bank and agency workers, redeployment and other related tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements
- SVQ level 3 in Administration or equivalent education.
- Enthusiastic, confident with systems and data entry, with strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Understanding of the need for confidentiality.
Location and Terms
The contractual base for the postholder will be Inverness. Effective from 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis, and there will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
