Our client is a well-established FMCG manufacturer looking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function at site level and support the wider UK people agenda.
This is a key leadership role, working closely with senior management to deliver a proactive, commercial, and pragmatic people service across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will take ownership of the full employee lifecycle, manage a small team, support operational leaders, and help shape people plans that align with business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Leading the site HR function and managing the HR team
- Partnering with senior stakeholders on workforce planning
- Recruitment
- Employee relations
- Performance, engagement, and process improvement
- Maintaining HR systems, reporting, and policies
Qualifications
- Previous HR leadership experience within manufacturing or FMCG
- Strong employee relations knowledge
- Experience supporting managers in a hands‑on operational environment
- Credibility to influence at all levels
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience
