Job Title: Construction Site Cleaner (New Build Housing)
Location: Barnstaple
Pay Rate: £16.50 – £17.00 per hour
Job Type: Ongoing / Full-time (subject to site requirements)
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a busy new build housing site in Barnstaple. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing completed plots to a high standard, ensuring properties are clean, presentable, and ready for handover and sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out full plot cleans once all trades have completed work
- Performing detailed sparkle cleans to show-home standard
- Removing protective tape, stickers, and residue from windows, ledges, and sills
- Cleaning internal surfaces including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, and fixtures
- Ensuring all areas of the property meet quality and presentation standards
- Reporting any issues or defects to site management
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Previous experience in construction or site cleaning preferred
- High attention to detail and pride in work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good timekeeping and reliability
