Job Description

We’re looking for an energetic and hands‑on Store Manager to lead a busy retail food location. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager who enjoys developing people, driving commercial performance, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

As Store Manager, you’ll have full responsibility for the day‑to‑day operation of the store, leading your team to achieve sales targets, maintain high standards, and create a positive environment for both customers and colleagues.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading, motivating, and developing a high‑performing store team.
• Recruiting, training, and retaining talented team members.
• Driving sales, profitability, and operational performance.
• Managing stock, margins, and labour costs to achieve business targets.
• Delivering outstanding customer service and quality standards.
• Ensuring compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, COSHH, and company procedures.
• Maintaining exceptional store presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Managing shift planning and day‑to‑day store operations.
• Acting as a role model and creating a positive team culture.

What I’m Looking For

• Previous management experience within a fast‑paced food retail, hospitality, or retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience delivering sales and profit targets.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• A hands‑on leadership style and willingness to lead from the front.
• Good IT skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Food Safety Level 2 qualification as a minimum (Level 3 desirable).
