We are expanding our engineering team to boost our development capacity and take our product to the next level. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll play a central role in shaping the technical direction of our platform, building high-quality features, influencing system architecture, and ensuring we deliver a product that’s efficient, robust, and a delight for thousands of customers to use.

Compensation: £70,000 – £80,000 / year

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver high-impact solutions that are clean, scalable, and built to last.
  • Work with Product, Design, and customers to define what we build and how we build it for long-term success.
  • Maintain, optimise, and secure our systems so they perform at their best, even at scale.
  • Lead the charge on tricky technical challenges, turning complex problems into elegant, maintainable solutions.
  • Support and guide other engineers, sharing knowledge and raising the technical bar for the team.
  • Keep up with new tools, trends, and best practices, helping us continuously evolve our stack and processes.
  • Take full responsibility from initial idea to production, ensuring every detail delivers value to users.

Skills and Experience

  • Advanced skills with Node.js (Express/Nest.js) and modern frontend frameworks (Vue/Nuxt or React/Next).
  • TypeScript and JavaScript mastery, delivering production-grade applications using modern best practices.
  • System design and architecture: create scalable, maintainable, high-performance systems.
  • Database and cloud experience: MongoDB, AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway).
  • DevOps and CI/CD: design and manage pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Testing and QA: proficiency with Jest, Cypress.
  • Highly collaborative, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Product-minded, focused on customer impact and business goals.
  • Clear communication, explaining technical decisions simply.
  • Kind, supportive, building a positive team culture.
