About the role:

justteachers are working exclusively with a well‑regarded sixth form college in Leeds to recruit a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of A Level Politics for a long‑term supply position starting in September on a full or part time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach motivated post‑16 learners in a focused sixth‑form environment, delivering engaging and thought‑provoking Politics lessons at A Level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching A Level Politics to sixth form students
• Planning and delivering high‑quality lessons aligned with exam specifications
• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
• Contributing positively to the wider college community

Pre‑requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Proven experience teaching A Level Politics (or strong subject knowledge)
• Ability to inspire and challenge post‑16 learners
• Strong classroom management and organisation skills
• Two education or school‑based references
