The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Leisure Club Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Leisure Club Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Leisure Club Manager in the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring that our members receive the best possible experience.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Leisure Club Manager in the day-to-day operations of the club.
- Providing leadership and direction to staff members, ensuring that they are motivated and engaged in their roles.
- Ensuring that the club is well-maintained and that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
- Providing excellent customer service to members and addressing any concerns or complaints that they may have.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns to attract new members.
- Managing staff schedules and ensuring that staffing levels are appropriate for the needs of the club.
- Conducting regular staff meetings to ensure that all staff members are up-to-date on club policies and procedures.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of members and staff at all times.
- Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
- Providing reports to the Leisure Club Manager on club performance and member feedback.

Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working in a leisure club or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- A good understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work evenings and weekends if required.
