Area Sales Manager (Paints / Industrial Coatings) – Liverpool, North West

£45,000 – £50,000 (OTE £60k) + Uncapped Commission, Car Allowance, Company Bonus, Training, Progression.

The Role

Manage a North West sales area from Derby to Newcastle, handling 30% account management and 70% new business for a leading UK manufacturer of industrial paints, powder coatings and pretreatment solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers (30% of the role).
• Source and close new business opportunities (70% of the role).
• Travel to customer sites 3‑4 days a week while working remotely for the remainder of the week.
• Operate within the defined North West patch and achieve sales targets.

Qualifications

• Area Sales Manager or equivalent experience in paints or industrial coatings.
• Strong sales background with proven ability to secure high‑value contracts.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, defence, aerospace, automotive and general industrial markets is an advantage.
