We’re looking for a Governance, Quality & Performance Lead to join our Lewisham team to support the delivery of a high-quality, effective, and diverse service. This is a key leadership role where you’ll play a crucial part in helping us meet key performance indicators, achieving service targets, and ensuring we continue to develop and deliver services that truly meet the needs of our community.

Location: Lewisham

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st March 2027

*Please note: Full‑time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part‑time roles, the salary and payments will be pro‑rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role:

  • Driving Quality and Performance Excellence: Build relationships with staff and coach and train to improve quality and performance. Create a learning and development culture that responds to changes in guidance and the community to deliver excellence.
  • Leading Quality Improvement: Lead on systems to improve quality and develop best practice throughout the team to ensure the people we support receive a high‑quality service.
  • Coaching and Staff Development: Foster team collaboration and empowerment, supporting and inspiring growth while developing new skills to deliver high‑quality interventions.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Cultivate strong relationships and collaborate with the Service Manager, wider CGL teams and external partners to build seamless pathways and achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.
  • Fostering a Learning Culture: Create a positive learning environment, underpinned by an ethos of openness and collaboration to increase quality throughout the service and enhance the service user experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Experience: Experience in governance, quality management, or performance monitoring within a health or social care setting.
  • Quality Improvement Expertise: Passion for continuous improvement, experience creating and implementing quality improvement plans, audits and reviews.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Experience managing and developing teams, helping staff gain the skills and confidence to deliver impactful interventions for diverse groups.
  • Commitment to Learning & Development: Proactive approach to self‑development and supporting the growth and development of the team.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Willingness to work across different operational sites and adapt to changing needs while delivering high quality service.

Salary Range (pro rata if part time)

CGL points 31 to 33 (£35,220.59 – £37,184.90)

ILW / OLW / Fringe

Inner London Weighting (£4,133.14)
