Support Worker
Salary: £26,300 per annum (pro rata) / £13.45 per hour. Permanent, part‑time (24 hours per week). Location: Southampton.

- Support customers with daily tasks.
- Work with homeless individuals and families, encouraging and supporting them to find long‑term accommodation.
- Encourage independence and celebrate wins.
- Create a safe, positive space where dignity and respect come first.
- Work collaboratively to empower customers.

You have
- Passion to support customers to live their best lives.
- Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally.
- The ability to work on your own initiative, staying calm and positive under pressure.
- The ability to recognise every customer is different and adapt a flexible, personal approach, listening to understand their needs.
- A Level 2 diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willingness to study towards it).
The practical bits
- Open to agreeing a work pattern.
- 24 hours per week and manage your own diary.
- Based at our Southampton service, spending time between the two properties in our patch.
- You will work alone, but we do get together regularly for training and team meetings.
- Required: Enhanced DBS with barring list (covered by the company).
- Vehicle insured for business use and a valid license required; the company pays any business mileage.
