Full Time (36 hours) and Bank/Casual positions are available.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle.
About the Role
You will support an individual with complex autism, following a detailed care and support plan, building a trusting relationship, and working as part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Provide person‑centred support to an individual with complex autism.
- Follow a detailed care and support plan.
- Work collaboratively with the team to identify and implement support changes.
- Create a safe and trusting relationship with the person you support.
- Contribute to the development and review of the care plan.
- Attend training, use PPE and comply with health and safety procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full UK driving licence, manual vehicle.
- Previous experience supporting adults with autism or similar needs is preferred but not essential.
- Patience, empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, determination and problem‑solving skills.
- Resilience and ability to work in a flexible, customer‑led manner.
- Willingness and ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to the person’s needs.
