We’re seeking a new trustee to steer our organisation towards an exciting future. We are looking for someone passionate about making a difference to people with disabilities who live independently.

As trustee, you can help ensure our board can oversee our upcoming digital transformation with greater confidence. Our staff team is our most important asset and our new People Strategy will ensure our teams feel supported, valued and confident in delivering our services. As trustee, we hope you will be highly involved in its successful implementation.

- Vision and be able to inspire others to work towards it
- A strategic focus and able to guide the board and management team to set and achieve long-term goals
- Integrity and accountability to stakeholders
- Experience and knowledge of the health and/or social care sectors.

What will you be doing?
We are a non‑profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities or long‑term health conditions to live independently. We work across England, primarily under contract to local authority and NHS partners. We were established in 1988 and have a staff team of over 200 people based across the country. We are currently working on an exciting digital project and people strategy which will have a significant impact both on how we work and how we support the people we work with.
As a trustee, you will provide strategic direction and oversight as we plan and implement these changes. You will work closely with our senior management team to achieve our objectives whilst continuing to provide a high quality, seamless service to those people we support.
