Protocol Education is looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join an outstanding special needs school in Witham. The students have a variety of special needs, including Autism and SLD. Personal care is required as part of this role. Many of the students are non-verbal, so strong communication is also important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist students in everyday activities, providing personal care as needed.
  • Support teaching and learning activities, inspiring, motivating, challenging and supporting each pupil.
  • Build strong relationships and rapport with individual children, maintaining a friendly and positive approach.
  • Work full-time, 5 days a week, between 8:30am-3:30pm.

Qualifications & Training

Pay & Benefits

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position; in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
