Summary

We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed term contract to work at our 033‑branch located at 17 Bridge Road, Crosby, Liverpool, L23 6SA.

Shift pattern:

• Monday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Tuesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Wednesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Friday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense and label prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
• Assist with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
• Maintain the utmost attention to detail and work efficiently under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Provide high‑standard customer service as part of a well‑established team.
• Support the learning and progression towards the recognized Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress in the role.
• Great people skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
