About the role
We are seeking warm, caring individuals to provide personalised care and support on a relief basis at our extra care services, Fitzwilliam Court, in Hoyland, Barnsley. Fitzwilliam Court supports older people maintain their wellbeing and enjoy active, independent lifestyles. We offer a variety of shifts to meet your needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide respectful and dignified personal care, emotional support, meal preparation, and assistance with daily tasks to maintain independence.
- Support medication management.
- Encourage participation in activities and foster social connections.
- Respond to changing needs and emergencies to ensure safe living environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of twelve months experience in care and support.
- Compassionate, respectful, reliable, and accountable, with a strong duty of care.
- Reasonable standard of verbal and written English.
- Vigilant, responsive, and capable of handling the physical demands of the role.
