Principal Cloud & AI Engineer

The role: Principal Cloud & AI Engineer – Up to £100k | Remote | Reporting to CTO

Lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge cloud solutions. We’re hiring a Principal Cloud & AI Engineer to drive AWS/Azure strategy, lead migrations, and shape automation, CI/CD, and AI/ML adoption. Hands-on technical leadership with strong AWS expertise essential.

The Role

• Lead large-scale cloud migrations (Windows to AWS, hybrid/on-prem integration)
• Design and optimise landing zones, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform IaC, GitOps
• Deliver AI/ML and Gen AI PoCs, leveraging cloud-native services
• Act as AWS technical authority, setting standards and guiding engineering teams
• Mentor engineers, foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation

What You’ll Bring

• Proven AWS expertise (Solutions Architect / DevOps Pro certified or willing to achieve)
• Strong hands-on background in cloud architecture and migrations
• Experience with Windows workloads, Workspaces, monitoring & security services
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
