Teaching Assistant – Wellingborough

About the role:

Justteachers is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Wellingborough. This full‑time position starts June 2026 and runs until February 2027. You will support classroom learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, assisting teachers and helping pupils develop confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support across a range of subjects
• Assist with small group activities and guided learning tasks
• Support pupils in maintaining focus and completing work
• Help prepare classroom resources and displays
• Encourage positive participation in learning activities

Pre-requisites:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
• Positive and proactive approach to supporting learning
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• Two references within the last two years from a related field
