Relief Support Worker

£12.85 per hour plus rolled up holiday pay.

Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Relief / Bank position.

Our service has been assessed by CQC as outstanding for responsiveness to meeting people’s needs and helping them achieve and celebrate goals related to health, independence and social lives.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively as part of a team to provide person‑centred support to individuals with learning and/or physical disabilities.
• Promote independence, inclusion, wellbeing and personal development through daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.
• Support personal care needs and enable safe access to the local community.
• Attend mandatory induction training courses prior to beginning the role.

Qualifications & Experience

• Twelve months minimum of previous experience within a care role.
• Motivation to provide personalised support based around activities that meet individual needs.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm to support vulnerable adults in the community.
