Teaching Assistant Level 2 x 2 – Ysgol Bro Pedr

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant within our dedicated ALN team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential, across our 3-19 age range.

Main responsibilities

• Provide support to individual pupils and small groups.
• Take the experience or enthusiasm to upskill to be able to deliver interventions.
• Work under the direction of the class teacher to deliver high‑quality learning experiences.
• Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment as appropriate to the role.
• Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s values and ethos.
• Support the welfare, safety, and inclusion of all learners.
• Obtain and maintain an Enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Someone with teaching assistant experience.
• Excellent communication skills in a school setting.
• A positive, flexible, and team‑focused approach.
• Willingness to undertake professional training.
• Ability to use Welsh and English.
