Salary £25,949 per annum (full‑time equivalent), permanent, part‑time 17.5 hours per week, pro‑rata. Location: Meadowfield Residential Care Home, Fulwood.
Rota: 12 noon – 5 pm.Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday.
Not open to international sponsorship.
Role Summary
This part‑time Residential Activity Care Assistant role is centred on activity planning and delivery for older residents, including those with dementia.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning, organising, and delivering a varied programme of activities.
- Encouraging resident participation and adapting activities to individual needs.
- Supporting residents to maintain hobbies, interests, and social connections.
- Creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere within the home.
- Working closely with colleagues, families, and volunteers.
- Helping to organise special events, celebrations, and themed days.
- Recording participation and gathering feedback to continually improve the activity programme.
