Support Worker

About the Role

Support Worker – Port Talbot, from £12.75 per hour | Full Time (40.25 hrs). Day & Night positions available. Work in a modern service where each individual has a self‑contained apartment designed around their needs.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living, personal care, and meaningful activities.
• Build strong, positive relationships that help individuals grow in confidence.
• Promote independence and encourage people to make their own choices.
• Work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
• Deliver care for both day and night shifts, offering flexibility to balance work and home life.

Qualifications & Requirements

• No previous experience required – we provide training.
• Kind, patient, compassionate, and resilient under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills – good listener.
• Ability to work a mix of shifts, including weekends.
• Valid driver’s licence – essential for taking individuals on activities.
• Enhanced DBS with barred list check required.
