Maintenance Operative / Handyman

Temporary role – 4 to 6 months. Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30.

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hands‑on Maintenance Handyman to support a busy manufacturing site on a temporary basis for approximately 4–6 months. This is a varied role involving general maintenance and site support duties across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling and moving racking and equipment
• Painting and general decorating touch‑ups
• Changing locks and carrying out minor repairs
• Supporting with basic building maintenance tasks
• Assisting with office and production area set‑ups and alterations
• Carrying out general upkeep and improvements around the site
• Moving furniture, fixtures, and materials where required
• Supporting the maintenance team with ad‑hoc tasks and projects
• Ensuring work areas are kept safe, tidy, and organised

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, trade, or handyman experience
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
