Plastering Repairs Technician to join our Direct Labour Operation (DLO).

Office Location: High Wycombe / Chesham.

Area of Work: Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, and surrounding areas.

Salary: £41,327 per annum + Excellent Benefits.

The key purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality plastering repairs and associated maintenance tasks in residents’ homes, ensuring safe working practices, first-time fixes, and excellent customer service.

About The Role/team

We’re looking for a skilled Plastering Repairs Technician to join our Direct Labour Operation (DLO). You’ll complete maintenance work in our properties, specialising in plastering while also carrying out minor day-to-day repairs. You’ll work closely with residents, providing excellent customer service while delivering safe, professional, and high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake plastering maintenance work unsupervised, ensuring high standards and first-time fixes
  • Carry out reactive repairs, including larger plastering tasks and rendering
  • Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials
  • Prepare surfaces, secure corner beads, and create decorative textures
  • Install plasterboard, insulation, and vapour barriers
  • Complete additional maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring a seamless service for customers

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds Part 1 & 2, NVQ2) or extensive experience in plastering
  • Apprentice-trained or at least 5 years of experience as a plasterer
  • Proficiency in maintenance and repairs, particularly plastering
  • Advanced knowledge of construction and health & safety regulations
  • A full, valid manual driving licence
  • Ability to carry out additional maintenance tasks beyond plastering
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service

For Added Brilliance

  • Experience in rendering and decorative plastering techniques
  • Familiarity with acoustic and insulating materials
  • Experience within social housing/local authority
