Job Description:

We’re looking for a part-time Team Administrator (3-4 days per week) to join the Marketing & Client Development team in Exeter, supporting the delivery of marketing activity across the firm.

This is a varied, fast‑paced role where you’ll be central to keeping the team organised and ensuring work is delivered smoothly and on time.

You’ll provide day‑to‑day administrative support across the team, including coordinating meetings, capturing action items and helping keep projects on track. Managing shared inboxes and triaging requests to ensure queries are responded to and followed through efficiently is a key part of the role. You’ll also prepare reports and updates for stakeholders, assist with budget tracking and spend monitoring.

You’ll take ownership of maintaining key systems and processes, such as keeping the marketing toolkit up to date, managing client data within CRM systems (contact records, subscriptions, data requests), and ensuring everything is accurate and well organised. Supporting event delivery when required—logistics, bookings, materials and attendee coordination—along with managing marketing collateral and assisting with the firm’s charity initiatives is also expected.

This role offers great variety, exposure across the wider business and plenty of stakeholder interaction.

Who you are

Experienced administrator thriving in a busy, fast‑paced environment; naturally proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and confident taking ownership of tasks from start to finish.

High level of attention to detail, comfortable working with systems, data and processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Strong communication skills — able to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, build effective working relationships, and negotiate expectations with confidence.

Open to asking clarifying questions to fully understand requirements and deliver to a high standard.

Experience in a professional services environment, and familiarity with CRM systems or event/logistics support, is beneficial. Experience within a marketing team or a genuine interest in marketing is highly desirable.

Positive, team‑focused attitude; calm under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities, reliable in keeping momentum.

Benefits

Well‑being, growth and work‑life balance support, including a rewards & wellbeing package.

Participation in the Responsible Business programme, including charity fundraising, environmental causes and employee‑led diversity and inclusion groups.

Continuous training and development opportunities for career progression.

Equality and Diversity

We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and strive to create a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, valued and empowered to succeed.
