Role Overview
The role of Staff Nurse is both challenging and interesting. As well as co‑coordinating the outpatient activity to ensure the service is well run and waiting times are kept to a minimum, you’ll also get involved in service improvements within the department. A great chance to develop patient‑centred leadership skills, you’ll also be encouraged to expand and develop your knowledge, skills and competencies within a supported and friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Co‑coordinate outpatient activity to keep service running smoothly and minimise waiting times.
- Get involved in service improvements within the department.
- Expand and develop knowledge, skills and competencies in renal medicine (renal experience is not necessary but you must be willing to learn about the specialty).
Qualifications
Qualified RN or Student Nurse with experience of working in an acute care setting. Hard‑working, enthusiastic and conscientious, you have an approach suitable for a fast‑paced and rewarding environment.
