About the role

Engineering Manager – Servant Leader, technical director, mentor, and hands‑on contributor. Lead two agile teams, design architecture, prioritize tasks, support leadership and stakeholders, drive engineering excellence.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities

  • Lead two agile teams to implement customer‑impacting features.
  • Design technical architecture and architecture of user stories and plans for delivery to production.
  • Prioritize technical debt alongside product deliverables.
  • Support Head of Engineering, CTO, and interact with senior business stakeholders.
  • Own overall delivery cadence and quality for the teams.
  • Identify and remove obstacles and bottlenecks.
  • Drive adoption of best engineering practices.
  • Mentor and coach engineers in agile and lean practice.
  • Organise knowledge transfer, training, and documentation.

  • Bachelor and/or master’s degree.
  • 3+ years leading software engineering teams, coaching agile practices.
  • Experience in Scrum, Kanban or similar delivery frameworks.
  • Strong background in Java, React, C# or similar.
  • 2+ years communicating with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in solutions architecture.
  • Experience in managing projects.
  • Experience in cloud environments (AWS or equivalent).
  • Experience managing DevOps, Platform or SRE teams.
