Job Summary

We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to operate from our Glasgow and Belfast Contact Centres. This role will provide the first line of support to customers over the phone, handling a wide range of enquiries in a high‑volume environment while maintaining an empathetic and proactive approach.

Location and Shift

Locations: Glasgow and Belfast Contact Centres.Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 20:00pm.Start date: 6th July (please only apply if this date is suitable).

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers over the phone.
  • Assist with day‑to‑day transactions, queries and servicing.
  • Update customer records accurately.
  • Help keep customers and the bank safe.
  • Build relationships and find solutions to customer needs.
  • Develop knowledge of services and products to better support customers.
  • Identify new ways to improve the customer experience.

Requirements

Professional Experience

  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, either face‑to‑face or via telephony. Prior financial services experience is not essential.
  • Strong listening and communication skills to understand customer needs.

Desirable

  • A genuine desire to go above and beyond for customers.
  • Effective team working skills with a flexible, can‑do approach.
  • Ability to follow process while thinking on your feet.
  • Openness to a broad range of activities, even outside standard expectations.
  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Salary: £25,000.00 – £31,579.00 per annum (based on experience).
  • £500 annual cash allowance for benefits.
  • 25 days annual holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 26 days after 5 years of service; option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
