Pump Service Engineer

PUMP M&E Site Services Engineer – BRISTOL

Working hours: 7.30am – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Location: Bristol, BS2 0JZ.

Salary: £42,000 plus a £1,000 Christmas bonus and £100 per five weeks for being on call (additional £1,000).

Main Duties

• Carry out maintenance on various pumps and associated equipment.
• Ensure equipment complies with current regulations.
• Fault investigation and repair: attend client sites to investigate faults with field‑based equipment, repair where possible, and report findings.
• Installations and modification upgrades: replace and install pumps and related equipment, and upgrade pumps and related systems where required.
• Commissioning of pump and related equipment and systems following installations.
• Liaise with the M&E Services department.
• Deal with commercial and residential customers.

Types of equipment you will be expected to work with

• Submersible pumps, clean water pumps, booster pumps, water feature pumps.
• Sewage pumps, sewage treatment pumps, dirty water pumps, well pumps.
• Portable irrigation, flood pumps, borehole services, pump control systems.
• Swimming pool pumps, septic tank replacement/upgrade, rainwater harvesting.

Qualifications and experience required

• Experience in clean and dirty water pump maintenance & repair.
• Health & Safety aware.
• CSCS certification.
• IPAF certification.
