Role Description
This is a part‑time, on‑site role for a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner based at Glasgow Medical Rooms in Glasgow. Responsibilities include delivering patient‑centred care, conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing and managing health conditions, prescribing medications and providing health education. The role involves supporting patients in minor ailments, chronic disease management, sexual health and travel health consultations.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical skills including patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning
- Experience in prescribing medications and managing chronic and acute health conditions
- Expertise in areas such as sexual health, travel medicine or chronic disease management is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust and provide exceptional patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multi‑disciplinary healthcare team
- Full Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration and an up‑to‑date advanced nurse practitioner qualification
- Previous experience in primary care settings or private practice is an advantage
