Part of Iconic Hotels and Resorts, The Lensbury is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

• To set up function rooms as instructed by management and the events function sheet
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional experiences for our customers through attention to detail and friendly and professional service.
• Ensure a high-quality mise-en-place, including polishing of silverware, glassware etc;
• Attend briefings and meetings as required.
• Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety, Hygiene and Licensing regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing down of all food and beverage areas.
• Ensuring areas are ready for service and cleaned at the end of each shift.
• When required, carry out duties in all Food & Beverage areas, including Restaurant, Bar, and Members’ Lounge

What we’re looking for:

To successfully fill this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:

• Previous experience in Conference & Banqueting, with an understanding of seating and table plans
• Relevant experience in bar work is desirable
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for both food and guest service
• A methodical approach to work and demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent customer service skills with a flexible approach to duties
• Smart standards of personal presentation
