About the person we support

Hi! I’m Tosin and I live in Inverness. At the moment I’m living in temporary accommodation, but I’m hoping to move to my new home in January 2026 (in Inverness) — and I’d love my support team to come with me when I move!

I live with bipolar disorder and learning disabilities, so I’m looking for kind, positive people who can help me through the tough days and enjoy the good ones with me. If you’ve got experience in mental health, learning disabilities or trauma-informed care, that’s a big plus!

What I’d Love Help With

  • Everyday stuff like cooking, cleaning, shopping, and going to appointments
  • Managing my money
  • Having someone around at night to chat with and make sure I’m safe and comfy

What I’m Into

  • Electric music — I love all sorts, from pop to rock to RnB
  • Long walks in nature
  • Karaoke and dancing
  • My Christian faith — it means a lot to me, so I’d love someone who can support me with that too

Responsibilities

Assist with daily living activities as described above; support independence and wellbeing; ensure safety and comfort; accompany to appointments; monitor health and wellbeing as directed by the care plan.

Requirements / Considerations

Experience in mental health, learning disabilities or trauma-informed care is a big plus. You must be flexible with your schedule. For this particular role, a male colleague is required as a genuine occupational requirement defined by the Equality Act 2010.
