Pay & Schedule
Rate of Pay: £12.46 per hour (16 hours per week). Under 18’s rate: £10.85 per hour. Contract Type: Permanent, 27 hours per week. Location: Brighton.
Job Overview
As part of the Housekeeping team, you will ensure that all guest bedrooms within the hotel are cleaned daily to the highest of standards. Your eye for detail and commitment to excellence will help meet our guests’ expectations for a perfect night’s stay.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms daily to the hotel’s high standards.
- Interact with guests in conversational English.
- Work independently for periods of time while maintaining focus on quality.
- Ensure bedrooms are clean and tidy before guest arrival and throughout their stay.
- Attend scheduled shifts, typically 9am–3pm, five days a week, with shift start times flexible between 9am and 10am.
- Complete physically demanding tasks and maintain a sufficient level of fitness.
- Receive full training in the use of chemicals and equipment.
Requirements
Experience in a similar role is not required, but a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference within the hotel are essential. Conversational English is essential, as is the ability to work independently.
