Job Title: Painter and DecoratorRate of Pay: £14.46 per hourContract: Permanent, Full TimeWeekly Contractual Hours: 39Location: Mitie Painting, Mason House, 10 Mason Road, Norwich, Norfolk, England, NR6 6RR

Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating
• Prepare walls and perform minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting
• Erect access equipment as required, with appropriate training and necessary access plant and temporary screening
• Monitor decorating material stock and request new stock as required
• Ensure all works are carried out within the approved budget
• Ensure painting and decorating equipment is best utilised, kept clean and reused

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification or minimum of 5 years checkable experience in painting, preferably with a recognised apprenticeship
• Organised, self‑motivated, with good communication and customer service skills
• Full driving licence preferred (but not essential)
