Senior Healthcare Assistant – Community Healthcare
Contract: Permanent
Location: Harrogateand the Hambleton and Richmond area
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (split between clinical and operational including nights and weekends)
Salary: £30,737.71 per annum FTE pre‑probation, increasing to £32,595.27 per annum FTE pending successful completion of probation (45% of hours will be in unsocial hours)

We are looking for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to work as an Operational Shift Coordinator with our Community based team in Harrogate and the Hambleton and Richmond area.
Main duties of the job
As an Operational Shift Coordinator, you will guide and inspire a team, contribute to service development, and provide high‑quality, person‑centred care. The role is community‑based throughout Harrogate and Hambleton and Richmond, requiring access to your own vehicle and a current driving licence.
- Provide on‑shift leadership, management and coordination of our Home HCAs, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care to patients and their families.
- Combine clinical coordination with operational responsibilities, including weekend leadership, participation in a 24/7 rota and involvement in the organisation’s escalation/on‑call system.
- Support service development, promote clinical excellence, and work collaboratively across the community.
