CNC Machinist Milling / Mill-Turn

Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well‑established precision engineering manufacturer in Birmingham that is investing heavily in advanced machining technology and continues to secure long‑term contracts across high‑specification industries.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with strong milling experience and familiarity with Hurco, GROB, or DMG Mori machinery. Candidates with CNC Mill‑Turn experience will have a significant advantage.

The Role

• Program, set and operate advanced CNC machining centres
• Produce high‑precision components to tight tolerances
• Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Conduct in‑process inspection using standard measuring equipment
• Work closely with programming and quality teams to ensure efficient production

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Miller, or CNC Setter/Operator
• Experience working with Hurco, GROB, or DMG Mori machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of machining principles and precision engineering
• Experience with 5‑axis machining would be beneficial
• CNC Mill‑Turn experience is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and maintain high‑quality standards
