Minibus Driver

Permanent part-time – variable hours (estimated 3‑8 hours per week, often on Wednesdays during term time).

The Minibus Driver role at BHASVIC involves transporting students and staff safely, requiring a friendly and courteous approach. Availability is required on Wednesdays, with additional days as needed.

Responsibilities

• Be available on Wednesdays and other days as required.
• Provide reliable, punctual service.
• Prioritise safety at all times.
• Maintain a calm, courteous manner when working with staff and students.

Qualifications

• Full clean driver’s licence suitable to drive a 16‑seater minibus with D1 category.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality and commitment.

Contract Details

• Variable Hours (Wednesday afternoons will be regular for Sports teams).
• Hourly rate £14.41.
• Automatic membership of the Local Government Pension scheme (http://www.eastsussexpensionfund.org).
