SEN Teacher – Maidstone Area

The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Deliver tailored, engaging lessons to students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that enables every learner to thrive
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans (EHCPs) to support individual student progress
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external agencies
- Use creative and adaptive teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Track, assess, and celebrate student progress in both academic and personal development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (school-based or specialist setting)
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to helping every child succeed
- Experience with EHCPs and differentiated planning (desirable but not essential)
