About the Company

We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic children’s home supporting young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. About the Role

As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, leading a dedicated team and creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operation of the children’s home
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, child-centred care
  • Promote safeguarding and positive outcomes for young people
  • Lead, support, and develop a committed residential care team
  • Oversee care planning, case management, staffing rotas, and operational performance
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals
  • Maintain compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements
  • Foster a positive, reflective, and supportive team culture

Qualifications

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Significant experience within a children’s residential care setting
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and Children’s Homes Regulations
  • Proven leadership and people management experience
  • Ability to manage a regulated service and maintain high-quality documentation
  • Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills

Required Skills

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Significant experience within a children’s residential care setting
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and Children’s Homes Regulations
  • Proven leadership and people management experience
  • Ability to manage a regulated service and maintain high-quality documentation
  • Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a similar role within a residential childcare setting
  • Knowledge of therapeutic approaches to care

Pay range and compensation package

Salary: From £50,000 per annum + Quarterly Performance Bonus
