Overview
An established engineering‑led contractor (turnover > £14m) is looking for someone to build and eventually lead a new business unit within the company. The successful candidate will inherit existing clients, live projects and opportunities to grow the portfolio.
Vision
The long‑term goal is to develop a profitable business unit, build client relationships, generate new opportunities and eventually recruit and lead Project Managers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and scale a profitable business unit.
- Build and nurture client relationships.
- Generate new business opportunities.
- Recruit and lead a team of Project Managers.
Qualifications
- Experience as an engineer moving into management.
- Strong understanding of project delivery and commercial performance.
- Experience with end users, FM providers or multi‑site portfolios.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and a professional network.
- Desire for increased influence beyond current organisation.
Benefits
