Maintenance Engineer in DY13, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire

Overview

A maintenance engineer is required to support a large European manufacturing company. The role will be based near Worcester, operating within a continental shift schedule as part of a large maintenance team.

Work Schedule

Week 1 and Week 2: 6:00 am – 6:00 pmWeek 3: 7:00 am – 7:00 pmWeek 4: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am

Duties

• Work days and nights on a 4 on / 4 off rota
• Plan and perform reactive maintenance
• Ensure plant and equipment operate smoothly
• Update maintenance logs
• Contribute to efficiency and reliability improvements
• Fabrication and welding work

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in an Engineering Discipline
• Experience in manufacturing or factory environments
• Welding and fabrication experience (desirable)
• Bearing fitting and alignment skills
• Good communication skills
• Teamwork ability

Location

Commutable from the following areas: Kidderminster, Dudley, Brierly Hill, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Droitwich, Redditch, Stourport, Stourbridge, and surrounding areas.
