Healthcare Support Worker

We are looking for Healthcare Support Workers / Decontamination Technicians to join our Endoscopy team at our new Community Diagnostic Centre in Yeovil.

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, 8am-6pm, 4 days a week, flexible through Monday – Sunday.

Main Duties

• Welcoming patients to the clinic in a professional manner and acting as patient advocate at all times.
• Cleaning, monitoring and tidying equipment as directed and reporting any problems or malfunctions to senior staff; recording, providing feedback and conveying relevant patient information/observations to the seniors.
• Delivering patient care in accordance with the care plan as documented by the Senior Nurse.
• Maintaining effective communication with patients, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrating a positive attitude, acting as an advocate for InHealth and delivering the highest standard of care accordingly.
