Graduate Project Engineer

Key Information

Salary: Base salary of £30,000.00 plus Veolia Benefits PackageLocation: DunfermlineHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to FridayProgramme Duration: 2‑year programme starting 2 September

Roles and Responsibilities

• Research options and identify potential solutions across industry and other sectors worldwide
• Support the business in meeting contractual and regulatory requirements through engineering projects
• Develop project deliverables and progress projects through the full lifecycle: feasibility, development, implementation and handover
• Work directly with engineers and operators on the plant
• Support operational and maintenance activities
• Manage projects through feasibility, design, supply chain and handover to users
• Lead stakeholder management and contractor coordination
• Gain exposure to all aspects of a commercial water company and Veolia’s Industrial Services and Energy offerings, with potential front‑line management experience

Qualifications

• Degree‑level qualification in Engineering (to be achieved by September 2026)
• Commitment to continuous learning and development
• Excellent problem‑solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic, creative and solution‑oriented thinker
• Driving licence (or willingness to obtain one)
