HGV Driver – Class 1 – Nights Out

HGV Drivers Class 1 Tramping – Nights Out – Permanent Positions

We are looking for six Class 1 HGV drivers for a well‑known company based in Longridge Preston. Positions are permanent after a 6‑week trial period through us.

Working hours: 4 nights out, Monday‑Friday shifts. Average 55 hours per week. Pay: £42,000–£44,000 per year (£860 per week).

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence
• Current CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• Six points or fewer on licence for minor offences
• Reliable, punctual and careful with vehicle maintenance

Responsibilities

• Tramp from site to site, 4 nights out per week
• Daily walk‑round and vehicle checks; report any damage or defects
• Correct use of tachograph and keep driver hours compliant

Benefits & Compensation

• Mon‑Fri shifts, no weekend working required
• Annual pay £42,000–£44,000 with overtime opportunities

Commute

Positions are commutable from Blackpool, Fleetwood, Garstang, Southport, Chorley, Leyland, Bamber Bridge and other nearby areas.
